Biography
David J. Henshall has served as Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Citrix since January 2006 and oversees all aspects of the companys worldwide finance organization, with responsibility for accounting, strategic development, financial planning and analysis, treasury, tax, internal controls, and investor relations. In addition, he also leads the IT, operations, and facilities teams.
From April 2003 to January 2006, Mr. Henshall served as Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of the Company. Prior to joining Citrix, Mr. Henshall served as Vice President, Chief Financial Officer, Treasurer and Secretary for Rational Software Corporation, responsible for all areas of corporate finance, accounting and taxation, as well as for managing Rationals relationship with investors, analysts, bankers and regulatory agencies. In this position, he played a major role in managing the $2.1 billion acquisition of Rational by IBM Corporation. Previously, Mr. Henshall served in finance positions at Cypress Semiconductor Corporation and Samsung Semiconductor Corporation.
Mr. Henshall serves on the Board of Directors of TechAmerica, a nationwide trade association founded in 1943, and Gomez, Inc., a leading provider of web experience management services. He holds a Masters degree in Business Administration from Santa Clara University and a Bachelors degree in Finance from the University of Arizona.
