Biography
Michael Cristinziano has served as Corporate Vice President, Strategic Development at Citrix Systems, Inc. since 2003, and is responsible for several corporate functions, including M&A strategy and execution, technology licensing and venture capital investments. Under Michaels leadership, Citrix has completed over two dozen strategic transactions contributing to the companys transformation into a global leader in Application Delivery.
Prior to joining Citrix, Cristinziano was Managing Director at New York-based Harris Nesbitt, the US investment banking subsidiary of BMO Financial Group, where he covered the networking and software industries. Michaels work as an equity research analyst has been recognized by The Wall Street Journal, Reuters and StarMine. A research analyst turned investment banker, Michael has participated in M&A and financing transactions totaling over $2 billion in cumulative deal value since 1995. Before joining Harris Nesbitt in 1997, Cristinziano started his Wall Street career as a research analyst at Needham & Co.
Cristinziano earned a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Temple University, a Master of Science in Systems Engineering from the University of Pennsylvania and completed post-graduate studies in Information Networking at Carnegie Mellon University. Michael serves as an independent Director on the Boards of Untangle, Inc., Bridgewater Systems Corporation and SourceFire, Inc.
